Euromarker
European legislation makes it mandatory to mark all Gas Oil throughout the European Union countries with the Euromarker. This enables authorities to have a harmonised system across Europe for controlling fuel fraud. The Euromarker system, introduced by the European Commission in 2001, is an excellent example of a fiscal marking system which has been implemented successfully.
