Recently, John Hogg Technical Solutions and TraceTag have jointly developed a new solution called DiTag, a state-of-art fuel marking and verification system. This system comprises an in-field marker which is detected by extraction or with portable instrumentation, coupled with unique DNA codes to provide unequivocal identification of the origin or the material.

DiTag marking system combines the advantages of using Markers with a unique fuel soluble synthetic DNA code to provide absolute authentiication, and can provide strong evidence to secure conviction in a court of law. The DNA is used in low concentrations and supplied blended with the marker dyes for ease of use.

The covert DNA Markers use proven technology and cannot be replicated, duplicated, or laundered commercially. Each DNA system supplied is unique to the individual customer.
