We also supply a range of specialist markers designed to offer brand management as well as protection against fuel adulteration and laundering.

These markers can all be easily detected in the field and have laboratory procedures to allow more accurate determination. Some of these markers require no chemical reaction, the marker content being detected in one step using a specially calibrated portable analyser.

The DYEGUARD Markers can be used to check the product integrity at the refinery, on the roadside or in the laboratory for high quantitative accuracy.

Our markers:
> Are completely miscible with fuel and impart no colour
> Are resistant to simple removal techniques
> Allow simple roadside testing, often using aqueous based extractants
> Allow portable analysers to show the concentration of marked product in the fuel sample
> Have the ability to successfully prosecute perpetrators discouraging fuel fraud

We also supply a range of portable spectrophotometers to measure the concentration of dyes and markers in fuel in the field.
