John Hogg Technical Solutions is a leading manufacturer of solvent soluble dyes and marker chemicals for the international petroleum industry.

Our DYEGUARD® and SUDAN® range of dyes and markers have been designed to meet national fuel marking legislation and customer requirements across every continent.  In addition to our standard range of colours we also offer a specialist colour matching service.

We are a subsidiary of the privately owned John Hogg Group based in Northern Ireland which was established in 1890.  Major areas of activity include coal and oil distribution, petroleum dye and marker manufacture, and the manufacture of linen and textiles.

The business of John Hogg Technical Solutions was established in 1981.  Our headquarters and blending plant is based in Trafford Park, Manchester, and we invested in a new dye manufacturing facility in Asia in 2005.

We achieved ISO 9000 quality approval in 1989 and have a global sales network of agents and distributors.  We are a flexible and customer focused company providing a first class service and supply most major oil companies throughout the world.
